Guidelines for check-out and final cleaning

The check-out time on the day of departure is at 12:00.

Pack all your belongings. Also check under the bed.

Empty the kitchen of food. You can leave a small amount of food packed in a plastic bag either on the kitchen table or in the refrigerator.

Wash the dishes. The dishwasher can be left on when you leave. We will take care of emptying it for you. Even if you have ordered final cleaning, dishwashing is not included in it.

Take the garbage out – remember to recycle glass, metal, plastic and cardboard in separate collection bins. You can take the return bottles with you or leave them in a separate collection container at the villa’s entrance.

Return the furniture to their original places.

Check that the yard is tidy and that outdoor items (fishing equipment, grill, barbecue sticks, oars, yard games, winter equipment, toys) are neatly in their places. Empty cold ashes from the grill into the ash container.

If you rented bed linen from us, remove them from the beds and put them in a neat pile in the hallway.

Do the final cleaning according to the cleaning instructions (instructions below). If you have ordered the final cleaning from us, you can skip this point.

If you leave at 12:00, you can leave the key in the lock of the front door. We will come to do the final maintenance of the villa right after your departure. If your journey home starts well before 12:00, please let us know at +358 400 240 831 so we can agree where you can leave the key.

Final cleaning instructions for guests cleaning themselves

This is a shortened cleaning guide. You will find the complete version in the villa’s guest folder or in the cleaning cabinet.

Kitchen

• Wash the dishes and put them back dry in their proper places in the cupboards. The dishwasher can be left running, and we will empty it after the program ends.

• Empty the trash bins and return the waste sorted into the waste shelter. Remember also to clean the trash trolley and cabinet.

• Empty and clean the refrigerator and freezer.

• Clean the stove, oven, and microwave.

• Check the cleanliness of the coffee maker, kettle, and toaster.

• Close the taps for the washing machine and dishwasher.

Other rooms

• Put the furniture back in their original places.

• Shake the rugs and beddings outdoors.

• Empty cold ashes from fireplaces and the grill.

• Clean the sauna, washroom, and toilet.

• Clean the toilet bowl, sink, and mirrors – note the color-coding of cleaning cloths: green for kitchen, pink only for the toilet bowl, and blue for other areas.

• Vacuum the floors – remember under the beds, wardrobes, sofa, and underneath the sofa.

• Wipe tables, counters, and cupboard doors.

• Wash windows if they have marks.

• Wipe the floors with a damp cloth.

• Close all windows and doors.

• Make the beds with aired beddings and bedspreads.

• If you used rental linens, place them in a pile near the door.

Outdoor areas

• If you used the grill, always clean it after each use so it does not rust.

• Bring barbecue sticks onto the fireplace, and place the pancake pan and boat oars on the terrace under shelter from the rain.

• If a pet has stayed with you in the villa, also make sure the yard is tidy and free of dug holes.

Rule of thumb: Please ensure that the villa is in the same condition when you leave as it was when you arrived. We will check the cleaning, and in the case of insufficient cleaning, a cleaning fee will be charged.
